We support the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer.  In 2006 my brother-in-law Richard Knott died from renal cell cancer. He was 49 and his death devastated our family.  Radio presenter James Whale had the same disease but, thanks to early detection, he was cured. We support the charity he has set up to fund research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease, and to provide a support network offering advice, information and encouragement to those who’ve been diagnosed with kidney cancer and their carers.
