To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012, Caithness' senior designer Sarah Peterson has produced a cauldron of reds, whites and blues. Your paperweight is individually handmade in Scotland by melting powder glass colours into clear glass and twisting them together; a second layer of clear glass is then taken from the furnace and pushed into a mould to form the tiny uniform bubbles; finally the third and final layer of glass is taken and the piece is shaped using wooden blocks and tools. The stunning paperweight measures 8cm high x 8cm diameter. It is supplied in a Caithness box.
