A single bubble floats above the Jubilee Crown, fireworks exploding in celebration behind in this handmade limited edition paperweight commemorating the Queen's 2012 Diamond Jubilee. This is your chance to own one of only 250 of these stunning works of art created by Caithness' top designer Sarah Peterson to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years on the throne. To make this beautiful paperweight, first the bubble is blown up with compressed air then sand is melted into the bottom of the glass before it is pressed onto a metal tool in the shape of the crown. Royal blue and purple chips are melted and swirled together to form the base of the weight. Once cool, the front facet is cut and polished and the fireworks engraved onto the back. The Crown paperweight measures 11cm (just over 4 inches) high x 8cm (approx 3 inches) diameter at its widest point. It is supplied in a special black Diamond Jubilee gift box with a satin lining and a certificate.
