Grey Elephant Paperweight by Caithness Glass

Product Information

Designed by Sarah Peterson, the Spot The Elephant paperweight is handmade by two craftspeople in the Caithness studio. The body is made first by rolling clear glass in pale grey powder colour, then by picking up the spot of darker grey, one each side of the elephant's body. Once the body is heated and shaped, the head is stuck on and the ears and trunk expertly pulled out to shape. The paperweight measures approximately 12.5cm high (5 inches) x 8.5cm (3 inches) wide x 11cm (4 inches) deep. It's supplied in a Caithness 'Sarah P' box.
