Three friends meet in a secret rendezvous. As part of Caithness Glass's 50th anniversary, Robert McAteer has designed a limited edition paperweight with an abstract design inspired by the idea of secret meeting. Three small bubbles representing the trio of friends are indented into the clear crystal glass. The delicate pink colour is then pushed up towards each of the bubbles, taking great care not to disturb them as this would cut them in half. Once the golden brown colours are pushed into the glass and twisted to form a spiraling central shape, the whole piece is given an elongated shape rising from a broad base by using a wet pad. The paperweight, hand crafted in Scotland, measures 11cm (just over 4 inches) high x 9cm (just under 4 inches) diameter at its broadest point. Only 100 have been produced. Your limited edition paperweight is supplied in a satin lined box with a certificate.
